Miscellaneous Notes: ==================== Partition-Stud Special Placements: ---------------------------------- Certain partition walls require measured placement of the studs owing to constructions on those walls. The list below is a short summary: examination of the design drawings and specifications will explain more fully. a. The back wall of the shelf closet in the Dressing area, because the studs will "picture-frame" an exposed-stud shelf area in the bedroom. b. The wall between the master-bath sink and the toilet/bidet area because there will be an exposed-stud shelf area by the sink. c. The wall between the second-bath sink and the adjacent hallway because there will be an exposed-stud shelf area by the sink. d. On the wall between the Living Room and the Bedroom, a little west of the masonry heater, because the hi-fi cabinet will require depth through the partition. e. The wall between the TV Room and the Workshop, because there will be an exposed-stud shelf area in the Workshop, behind the drawers under the television shelf. f. The wall between the Kitchen and the TV Room, because the two 2x4 horizontals over the cooktop will be lagged into the studs and will be carrying a substantial weight. g. The wall between the Office and the Laundry Room, because the over-the-desk shelves, carrying substantial weight, will require several shelf brackets which will need to be symmetrical along that wall for appearance. Note: This list may not be complete. Review of the drawings and specifications before erecting the partitions is crucial. {end}
